Songwriter John Marascalco had a hand in some of the big R&B and rock hits of the 1950s and '60s, including songs he co-wrote with Robert "Bumps" Blackwell for Little Richard like "Good Golly Miss Molly" and "Rip It Up." Another hit written by the duo, "Ready Teddy," has been recorded by such rock legends as Buddy Holly and Elvis Presley. Marascalco has also co-written songs with Fats Domino ("Be My Guest"), George Mottola ("Goodnight, My Love"), and Scott Turner.
